Seniors, by the time this article is in print many decision notifications will be out and in your mailbox or online. Those sending letters and emails two weeks ago were MIT, Boston College, Colorado College, Northwestern, Caltech. This past week included Bard, Bowdoin, Grinnell, Pomona, Colgate, Boston University, UCLA, Middlebury, Colby, Kenyon, American, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer, Occidental, UC Santa Barbara, George Washington, Santa Barbara, Wellesley, Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, and Wesleyan. Obviously, there are many more to come. Just a bit of advice if some of your favorites haven’t arrived yet, try to remain calm, if possible, and share the wonderful news when it comes. There may be some disappointments but try not to take it personally. The application pool this year was huge. If you’ve applied to many colleges, your time for decision-making will be upon you. May 1 is the deadline to declare your winner.
